Case Study
Heel Quik
Atlanta's cobbler at Lenox.
Forty-eight years at Lenox Square. 178 five-star reviews — the highest count of any cobbler in Atlanta. And a one-page GoDaddy contact form to show for it. We built the brand, the website, and the AI search architecture that finally match the legacy.
The Challenge
Forty-eight years of trust.
None of it online.
— and a website that didn't show any of it.
Forty-eight years inside Lenox — and the homepage was a form.
Heel Quik has been the cobbler at Lenox Square continuously since 1977. 178 five-star reviews. The highest review count of any cobbler in Atlanta. And the entire website was a one-page GoDaddy contact form — no story, no team, no proof, no reason to call. Forty-eight years of trust, completely invisible to anyone searching.
A multi-page custom site built around the lineage — "Same Lenox shop. Since 1977." Heritage timeline, team page with five craftsmen, story copy that earns the legacy without overstating it.
Customers searching "shoe repair Atlanta" couldn't see a single service.
Heel quik fixes Louboutin red bottoms, refurbishes Gucci loafers, restores Jordan 1s, replaces sneaker midsoles, repairs handbags, and rebuilds boots. None of it was on the site. No service pages, no before/after photos, no price ranges, no category language. To know what they did, you had to walk to Lenox.
A service page per category — heel & sole, sneaker care, leather & designer, handbag repair, boots — with real before/after photos pulled from the shop's actual work and language designed to match how Atlanta searches.
Atlanta's fastest-growing repair category — and Google didn't know Heel Quik did it.
Sneaker cleaning, gluing, and painting is the Atlanta market's biggest growth lane right now — and Heel Quik's only direct local competitor (Shoe Doctor, also at Lenox) was building a moat. Heel Quik already had a sneaker specialist in the back. Nothing on the site, nothing on Google said so.
A dedicated sneaker-care service page, schema-tagged for AI search, with the specialist's work front and center — heritage cobbler meets modern sneaker culture. The page Shoe Doctor still doesn't have.
When someone asked Siri "where can I get my Loubs re-soled in Atlanta?" — Heel Quik wasn't in the answer.
No structured data. No schema. No hours, location, services, or reviews tagged in a format AI engines could read. ChatGPT, Siri, Google AI Overviews — every modern search surface had to guess, and they guessed wrong. Forty-eight years of being the answer, and the AI didn't know it was them.
Schema.org markup baked into every page — LocalBusiness, services, hours, address, reviews, FAQ. Built to surface in AI-powered search the day the site went live, not 18 months after the first SEO audit.
Every Atlanta cobbler is six weeks out. Heel Quik can do it today.
The Buckhead shopper deciding between Heel Quik and the kiosk needs to know one thing — can this get done before the weekend? Atlanta competitors run 6-week backlogs. Heel Quik turns most jobs around in 24–48 hours, often same-day for quik services. That capability was Heel Quik's strongest sales line, and it lived only in the heads of returning customers.
"Quik Services" featured throughout — a clear 24–48 hour promise on the homepage, plus a photo-first intake flow that lets customers send shoe details and a picture before they walk in. Less time at the counter, faster turnaround out.
The Scope
Everything we shipped.
"Script & Stiletto" Logo Suite
A stiletto silhouette that reads as both a women's heel and a men's sneaker — Megan's exact concern, solved in one mark. Ink, cream, forest green, and antique gold. Primary lockup, badge, and an "EST. 1977" treatment that turns the founding year into a brand asset.
BrandCustom Multi-Page Website
Home, services, the shop, about, team, FAQ, blog, contact — built from scratch on Astro 6. Every page structured around how Atlanta customers actually search and decide, not how a Squarespace template wants to organize content.
Web DesignHeritage Story — "Same Lenox shop. Since 1977."
A heritage timeline that earns the legacy without overstating it. About page that frames Heel Quik as the only cobbler Lenox Square has ever had — the strongest positioning line, finally on the page where customers can read it.
ContentService Page Per Category
Heel & sole, sneaker care, leather & designer, handbag repair, boots. Each with its own page, its own before/after photos, and language tuned for the exact terms each customer is searching — from "red bottom resole" to "Jordan midsole clean."
Web DesignAI Search Architecture
Schema.org markup on every page — LocalBusiness, services, hours, reviews, FAQ. Built day-one to surface in ChatGPT, Siri, and Google AI Overviews. When someone asks AI for the best cobbler in Atlanta, Heel Quik's the answer with the receipts.
Local SEOOur Team — Five Craftsmen, Polaroid Layout
A dedicated /team page with Alex, Megan, Raymond, Joshua, and Neva — polaroid-style cards, nickname captions, and a fun-fact strip for each member. The human side of a 48-year shop, finally on the website.
ContentBlog with Real Heel Quik Reels
Heel-tip swaps, sole reglues, Louboutin protection — actual shop footage embedded in story-driven posts. Every reel doubles as content for Instagram, TikTok, and Google's video search.
ContentPhoto-First Intake + CRM
Customer sends shoe brand, service needed, and photos before walking in. Inquiry routed into the CRM with the right tags and pickup expectations set automatically. Less time at intake, faster turnaround, every lead logged.
